Birthday Present Ideas | Chocolate and Fudge Muffins in a jar

Hi Guys,
So recently it was my Chummy Emsi Rose’s Birthday and for the three weeks I was away on holiday I was wondering what I could give her. Because we are both obsessed with baking I thought about giving her a cupcake/muffin mix in a jar because they always look really cute. So I went on a search through some recipes when I found the ‘Chocolate Ban-udge muffins in a jar’ recipe on SORTEDfood.com I made a few alterations to the recipe because I couldn’t find any dried banana chips anywhere. On the way back from my holiday I asked my dad to stop off at the Lakeland near us so I could buy a 1 litre jar then we went to a supermarket so I could buy all the ingredients I needed. Then this is what I did:
               Ingredients
            200 g Self-Raising Flour
100 g Soft Light Brown Sugar
            4 tbsp. Skimmed Milk Powder
1 sachet of Egg White Powder
            1 pinch of salt
            100 g Dark Chocolate Chips
               65 g Fudge Pieces
1.      Weigh out the flour and pour it in the Jar (shake the jar slightly to make sure it is as even as possible) pack it down using a spoon so ingredients don’t mix over time. Then weigh out the sugar and do the same. Repeat with the rest of the ingredients (if you want you can mix the milk powder, egg white powder and the salt).

2.      Close the lid of the jar and make sure it is secure. Write a label saying what they are and the instructions of what they then have to do.

Instructions for label
3.      Preheat oven to 180˚C. Tip the Jar into a bowl. Mix with 120 ml water and 60 ml veg oil. Divide into muffin cases. Bake for 15 minutes.
I also gave Emily a pair of earrings and a leather bracelet which I bought in Canada. In the recipe on SORTEDfood they also include another 35 g of fudge pieces (to make it up to 100 g) and 75 g of Dried Banana Chunks. (I am not sponsored by SORTEDfood I just love their videos and app cause it's really handy)

Thanks for Reading!!!

xXx
