A Day in my Life | Saturday 13th August

Hi Guys,
A lot of the time my days are very similar. When I’m at school I have a set schedule so I get to school on time, but now I’m on holiday it’s a bit more relaxed and I don’t really do much but on Saturday my family was invited to a friend’s 18th birthday party so I thought I would tell you about it.
10:30 – Wake up! I woke up quite late cause it’s the holidays and it was a weekend.
10:45 – Sit up! After waking up I check my phone for messages and I scroll through Instagram and        snapchat.
11:00 – FOOD!!! I went downstairs and had a piece of toast with Nutella and a cup of Coffee for my breakfast.
11:30 – I ran myself a bath and used the LUSH Intergalactic bath bomb (which is one of my favourites) then I chilled and washed my hair using the Aussie Colour Mate Shampoo and Conditioner.
12:00 – I got dressed and curled my hair.
12:15 – I went food shopping with my dad so we could get food for the week.
1:30 – We had lunch which was one of my childhood favourites a salad sandwich. I know it sounds weird but they are actually delicious it includes bread rolls, lettuce, tomato, spring onions, ham, cucumber and salad cream.
2:00 – I Chilled and watched some Once Upon A Time which I am on season 3 of and I am loving it.
4:00 – I started putting on my Makeup to go to the party.
5:30 – We left to go to the party which was amazing there was a photo booth, a chocolate fountain, and a candyfloss machine. I had so much fun spending time with my friends.
11:30 – I walked home and got a bag ready to sleep over at one of my friend’s houses.
00:30 – I headed to bed!

What did you do today?

Birthday Present Ideas | Chocolate and Fudge Muffins in a jar

Hi Guys,
So recently it was my Chummy Emsi Rose’s Birthday and for the three weeks I was away on holiday I was wondering what I could give her. Because we are both obsessed with baking I thought about giving her a cupcake/muffin mix in a jar because they always look really cute. So I went on a search through some recipes when I found the ‘Chocolate Ban-udge muffins in a jar’ recipe on SORTEDfood.com I made a few alterations to the recipe because I couldn’t find any dried banana chips anywhere. On the way back from my holiday I asked my dad to stop off at the Lakeland near us so I could buy a 1 litre jar then we went to a supermarket so I could buy all the ingredients I needed. Then this is what I did:
               Ingredients
            200 g Self-Raising Flour
100 g Soft Light Brown Sugar
            4 tbsp. Skimmed Milk Powder
1 sachet of Egg White Powder
            1 pinch of salt
            100 g Dark Chocolate Chips
               65 g Fudge Pieces
1.      Weigh out the flour and pour it in the Jar (shake the jar slightly to make sure it is as even as possible) pack it down using a spoon so ingredients don’t mix over time. Then weigh out the sugar and do the same. Repeat with the rest of the ingredients (if you want you can mix the milk powder, egg white powder and the salt).

2.      Close the lid of the jar and make sure it is secure. Write a label saying what they are and the instructions of what they then have to do.

Instructions for label
3.      Preheat oven to 180˚C. Tip the Jar into a bowl. Mix with 120 ml water and 60 ml veg oil. Divide into muffin cases. Bake for 15 minutes.
I also gave Emily a pair of earrings and a leather bracelet which I bought in Canada. In the recipe on SORTEDfood they also include another 35 g of fudge pieces (to make it up to 100 g) and 75 g of Dried Banana Chunks. (I am not sponsored by SORTEDfood I just love their videos and app cause it's really handy)

Welcome Back | An Explination

Hi Guys,
So I know it's been a while since I've blogged and uploaded any Youtube videos and there are a few reasons for that and I am going explain them now:

  1. From January to the middle of June I was very busy with school work because a lot of the subjects I took for my exams needed me to stay after school to rehearse. (Some even needed me to go in during holidays so I could finish my work to the standard I wished it to be). The exams I took were important as the results will determine which collage I go to.
  2. The week after my exams there was a play in a week (PIAW) at my school and I was assisting the drama and art department with costumes and little side jobs throughout the week. My school has done about 8 of these PIAW's and I have helped with a fare few including acting in one of them.
  3. Literally the day after PIAW finished I was in a car driving up to Scotland I spent 1 night in Scotland and then I went on a lovely holiday to the beautiful lands of Canada for three weeks with one of my really good friends (I will write a blog post about it and probably film a video).
  4. I can never think up of ideas for blog posts or Youtube videos and if I do I always think they are really bad or that someone else has done something similar recently and people will think that I am copying them.
I know this is making up excuses and I have definitely not stuck to my new years resolutions. But from now on I am going to try and write one blog post a week or every two weeks cause I really enjoy writing these and I love having my little space on the internet where I can share my thoughts and ideas. I hope you will bare with me while I try and get into the swing of writing these things.

Thanks for Reading!!!
